Was für ein toller Tag in meiner Kariere. Nach einer durchwachsenen Saison, in der ich bisher nicht an die XCO Ergebnisse von 2020 anknüpfen konnte, gingen bei der WM endlich die Beine voll auf. Trotz eines ordentlichen Sturzes in der dritten Runde, konnte ich meinen Vorwärtstrieb das ganze Rennen durchhalten und als Fünfter das Eltie Rennen bei der WM beenden. Ein riesen Erfolg für mich und das Lexware Mountainbike Team, zumal mein Teamkollege Martin Vidaurre am Vormittag den U23 Weltmeistertitel holen konnte.
// What a incredible day in my career. After an unsatisfying season in which I couldn´t continue the XCO results as I did in 2020 finally my legs opened completely. Although a tough crash in the third lap I could hold onto my forward trend and finish on the fifth spot in the Elite category at the world championships. It is a huge success for me and the Lexware Mountainbike Team. Additionally my teammate Martin Vidaurre took the title in U23 category in the morning.
